Pequea has a rich farming heritage since the company’s origins in 1990. It was started by an local Amish farmer who wanted to dry his hay a little faster. He built a fluffer tedder on his farm that was located on the Pequea Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
The company was purchased in 1992 and continued to grow. Today the famous tedders and trailers are built in a 100,000 square foot factory in New Holland, Pennsylvania.
